At the beginning of the year, Corton House was pleased to welcome inclusive dance company Compass Dance into the care home, to lead weekly sessions focusing on movement and wellbeing. The theme of nature organically emerged during the sessions and footage of this process was captured. This footage was later incorporated into a performance piece inspired by residents' movements from the Compass Dance community company, shared at Norwich Theatre in March. Residents were able to watch this via livestream.

Our Activities Coordinator at Corton House, Maria Widdrington, said of the project: "This project was a unique experience for the residents here at Corton House. Rosa and Gaelin created a very inclusive, calm, fun and at times energetic space for the residents. A few of the residents were hesitant but after a few weeks... opened up and clearly enjoyed the sessions. It enabled some residents to express themselves where maybe they have not been able to previously."
