Corton House entered into the spirit of the Royal Wedding on Saturday May 19th.We all had a lovely time with many of the residents and staff wearing a fascinator or hat. Bucks Fizz/sherry were served with sausage rolls and cheese straws.
Linda, our 'look-alike Queen', and one of our carers, dressed up royally for the occasion, complete with crown , and did 'meet and greet'. We sung the National Anthem and then watched the wedding of Harry and Meghan on TV. At teatime residents tucked into a wedding cake decorated with a photo of the happy couple.
