Our summer fundraiser in late August was a brilliant day - the weather was just right, we were treated to sessions from Dance To Health and Darrin Sings gave us some familiar tunes for a real party atmosphere. There were delicious cakes and snacks, and plenty of visitors with both the tombola stalls selling out in the first couple of hours! Not to mention the incredible number of raffle tickets we sold.
The lucky winners from the raffle and fete games have now been contacted. Congratulations to all! Thank you to Doreen and Ken for modelling some of the fabulous raffle prizes which were on offer. For those who have been waiting with bated breath... There were 138 balloons in the car! There were 196 sweets in the jar! The cake weighed 13 lb 7oz! AND the teddy bear's name was Bert!
