We were thrilled to recently be able to invest in an Om Interactive Mobii sensory projector for our care home.

This was made possible by a generous donation of £1.5k from Equans; with whom we were connected by our regular volunteer and Equans employee, Matt, who nominated us to receive the money. The proceeds from our 2024 Charity Golf day contributed the rest of the funds.

Residents have really enjoyed the huge variety of games and activities offered by the Omi - as our administrator Sophie says, "It can be very relaxing . . . or very competitive! Doreen played for long enough one afternoon that she was complaining of arm ache!
It’s also been a good way to get some of our residents living with dementia to feel engaged, and for one to one sessions for those who prefer to stay in their rooms."
