German Afternoon

Some studies have shown that "lifelong use of more than one language could lead to enhanced cognition in later life" so we are always keen to support our bilingual residents (or those who are interested in speaking another language!) to have a natter in whichever language they choose!

Residents Gisela and Jenny both speak German, so we invited our regular volunteer Edwina - who used to live in Germany - to spend an afternoon of German conversation with them (accompanied by Lebkuchen and other traditional  snacks of course!)
