Attendees at our monthly community cafe, with Friend In Deed, have enjoyed some extra guests recently - students from Norwich City College, who are studying a childcare course. Their teacher, Eve, says:

"The intergenerational experience they gain from working with both older adults and young children in truly invaluable. They come away from each visit with new insights, greater empathy and a growing sense of confidence. One of our students had a lovely conversation with an older adult about fashion, style and music through the decades. It sparked such enthusiasm and curiosity,  and the student later shared how much they appreciated hearing those personal stories and perspectives whilst walking home."
